STUDY AWARDS PROCESS:

Please READ and follow these directions:

  • Students will need to bring three typed copies of their repertoire (not hand written) to present to the judges. This sheet must also contain their division number, their entry number and their voice type, but must NOT include the student's name, school or teacher.

To assist in the process, students may type directly onto the interactive Entrant Repertoire Form. (Tip: Click next to the word "Division" to begin, type in your division number, then simply hit TAB on your keyboard to move throughout the rest of the form). When completed, the student can then select to print three copies of the form to bring with them to their audition.

  • Please make certain that your students have original scores for all of their music to present to the judges at the time of their auditions. Accompanists may play from photocopies, but the originals must be present.

  • Performance times, entry numbers and locations can all be found on the Schedule of Entrants. Please feel free to print and copy this schedule as much as needed.

  • A separate Schedule of Accompanists has also been provided as a convenience for your pianists.

  • All voice instructors who have submitted students are required to judge. Judging assignments can be found on the Schedule of Rooms, Divisions and Judges. (Please note that on this particular schedule, Division 17 has a separate time schedule from the other divisions).

  • I have provided a few additional one-page schedules: A Schedule of Rooms, Divisions and Contestants, and a Schedule of Rooms, Divisions and Accompanists. Both of these schedules were made for administrative purposes, but I am providing them for your use as well, simply as a convenience.

  • For the directions to and from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, you may consult the school's website where you will find a number of printable and interactive maps.

  • The Study Awards will be held in three separate buildings: Lee & Thomas Beam Music Center (BMC), Archie C. Grant Hall (GRA), and the Alta Ham Fine Arts (HFA). All three buildings are adjacent to one another.

  • For any further information regarding the Study Awards, please feel free to send an email to the Study Awards Coordinator.
